When editing my film, one tool i had used was the trimming tool. When my footage for my film would be too long i would cut it down using the trimming tool, this allows me to make my film shorter if needed. This tool comes in handy if my film exceeds over the 5 minute limit, i could use it to shorten some of my scenes to fit within the time limit. I can also use this tool if there is unnecessary footage in a scene.
When editing my film, another tool i had used was the blade tool. This tool helped me when i needed to split up my footage for my film and either take a chunk of footage out and blend it in with the rest of the footage in the film. I would have to blend it so it flows well so the audience can not tell the footage has been split.
Another tool i used when editing is adding audio and sound tracks. Adding audio to my film helped it be more intriguing as it builds suspense for the audience when watching. Adding sound effects enhances my film for the audience to pay attention to the small details in my film for example doors closing.
Another tool i used was deleting some footage. This tool helped me delete footage that were bloopers and not needed. I would use this tool to delete extra footage that I don't need in my final edit.
Another tool I used was putting two lots of footage overlapping each other, this was done by allowing the audience to see what was happening with the main character and the bullies in my film to understand what is going on.
